Postpartum Doula Services

For more than 25 years, I have worked with children and families as an early childhood educator, parent educator, and family support professional.
My experience includes Denver Cooperative Preschool, Cory Elementary School, and working closely with parents to support child development, healthy family relationships, and positive parenting practices.
As a Postpartum Doula, I bring this extensive background into the home, helping families navigate the transition to life with a new baby through practical support, education, encouragement, and compassionate care.
I also provide support with newborn care, feeding guidance, sibling adjustment, establishing routines, and helping parents gain confidence during the postpartum period.

About Still Waters
Postpartum Care provided by
Susan Waters

Hi, I’m Susan Waters, founder of Still Waters Postpartum Care LLC. After more than 25 years working as an early childhood educator and supporting families, I felt called to continue my work in a more personal way by becoming a postpartum doula and newborn care specialist.
I recently completed my postpartum doula training through Allo Doula Academy and am currently completing my Newborn Care Specialist certification through Newborn Care Solutions. I am passionate about helping families feel calm, supported, and cared for during the transition into life with a new baby.
My approach is gentle, nurturing, and family-centered, with a focus on emotional support, newborn care education, soothing techniques, feeding support, sibling adjustment, and helping parents gain confidence in their new roles. I strive to create a peaceful environment where families can rest, recover, and bond with their newborn.
I offer both daytime and overnight postpartum support throughout the Denver area. Whether families need practical assistance, newborn guidance, overnight care, or simply an extra set of caring hands, I am honored to walk alongside them during this special season of life.
In addition to my doula training, I bring more than 25 years of experience working with children and families as an early childhood educator. I am infant CPR certified and have dedicated my career to nurturing children and supporting parents. My goal is to provide compassionate, knowledgeable care that helps families feel confident, rested, and supported as they navigate life with a new baby.
